(The Authority and Importance of the Holy Bible)
" Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge
in Him. Do not add to His Words, or He will rebuke you and prove you a
liar." (Proverbs 30 : 5 - 6)
" The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. The statues of the
Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are
right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving
light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The
ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous."
(Psalm 19 : 7 - 9)
" All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking,
correcting and training in righteousness." (2
Timothy 3 : 16)
" For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any
double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints
and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."
(Hebrews 4 : 12)
