奇妙美麗的貝殼

「看這一切，誰不知道是耶和華的手作成的呢。」

(伯12:9)

「自從造天地以來，神的永能和神性是明明可知的，雖是眼不能見，但藉着所造之物、就可以曉得，叫人無可推諉。」

(羅1:20)

從貝殼表面可以看見宇宙的造物者━天父的奇妙、偉大、智慧的作為來。

所有的人類和動物並飛禽，在受造時是皮肉或羽毛包着骨頭，外型各有各的美麗可愛。故此，很多人歡喜養小動物和飛鳥為寵物，也很歡喜參觀動物園和水族館。如果把動物的皮肉和禽鳥的羽毛除去，那祇剩下一把骨頭而已，是何等醜陋難看啊！沒有人喜歡收藏骨頭的。(除了化石。)

但天父創造海底的貝類時，却相反的把“骨頭”包着肉，而每種貝類的殼，就是它的骨頭。各有各的特別型態；各有各的顏色和圖案，非常美麗，故很多人收集珍藏。孩童們跟隨父母在沙灘上拾貝殼，是人生最優美難忘的時光了。

人━是天父創造中最美的傑作，是最榮耀和尊貴了。因為，是天父照着自己的榮耀形象和樣式而創造的；又賜給人有天父自已的神聖生命；並給人權柄管理其他受造的萬物。那時，人的身體是披着天父神聖榮耀的光輝，極其尊貴、榮耀和美麗，真可說是天之驕子！所以，聖經說：“我要稱謝祢,因我受造奇妙可畏。祢的作為奇妙,這是我心深知道的。”(詩139：14)

可悲的！人卻跟隨魔鬼犯罪悖逆天父，從此，便失去了神的榮耀和光輝的形體，像隻沒有毛的小老鼠一樣，赤光着身軀極其羞恥，人便摘無花果葉遮體，後來，才漸漸進步而穿衣服遮羞！

從此，人便遠離創造他們的神━天父，在罪惡中生活，死後便跟着魔鬼在燒着硫磺的火湖裏永遠受苦！

感謝天父的憐憫，當人類死在自己的過犯罪惡中，因祂愛世人，便差自己的兒子━耶穌基督降世，為人的罪惡被釘死在十字架上，這就是義的代替不義的人而死。祂死後被埋葬，第三日從死裏復活，四十日後升回天家。祂應許以後再回來，接屬自己的人回天家。並且改變人卑賤的身體，和自己榮耀的身體相似。

這樣，便恢復了人失去的本來尊榮的地位，和榮耀光輝的形體。

THE WONDERFUL BEAUTIFUL SEASHELLS

“Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this? ”

(Job12:9)

“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse :”

(Romans 1:20)

The design of a seashell reveals something to us about the Creator of the universe-the wonder, greatness, and wisdom of the Heavenly Father.

When animals were created, they were created with bones covered by flesh, skin, or feathers. They all have their unique beauty and attractiveness. That’s why many people like to keep animals as pets, or visit zoos and aquariums. But if an animal is stripped of its flesh and skin, it becomes just an skeleton, and nobody would want to love or keep it.(Except fossil.)

The Heavenly Father created the seashell in a different way. The seashell is created with the bones covering the flesh. Each type of seashell has its unique shape and colour pattern. Many people like to collect seashells because they are so beautiful. Kids enjoy and treasure the time spent with their parents in collecting seashells from the beach.

Man is a masterpiece of the Heavenly Father’s creation. Man is majestic and glorious because the Heavenly Father made man in His own image and likeness. He also gave man His divine life and granted him authority to rule over other created beings. Originally man’s body was covered with the divine light of the Heavenly Father and was highly exalted and glorious. Therefore, the Bible says, “I was wonderfully made.” (Psalms 139:14)

But the tragedy is that man followed Satan to disobey the Heavenly Father, and thus fell into sin. Man lost the glorious light of God and had to use leaves from the fig tree to cover his nakedness. It was only when civilization developed that man learned to make clothes to cover his shame.

From then on, mankind was separated from their Heavenly Father. They lived in sin, and faced the eternal punishment of the Lake of Fire after death.

Thanks to the mercy of the Heavenly Father, He gave His Son Jesus Christ to be born into this world, to die for man’s sin (i.e., the righteous dying for the unrighteous). Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross, buried, resurrected on the third day, and ascended back to Heaven after forty days. He promised He would come again to take those who trusted in Him back to their Heavenly home. The lowly body of believers would then be transformed into the likeness of His glorious body.

The glorious status that man lost will be restored through Jesus Christ.
